Yellow Bowl M

Handcrafted in Urbino, Italy, this wheel-thrown bowl undergoes a Raku firing after the initial bisque stage. Glazed in warm yellow tones, it develops areas of deep smoky black where the fire and smoke react directly with the surface, forming organic contrasts that cannot be repeated. Textured sections are shaped and carved with ceramic tools, giving the piece a tactile presence alongside its smooth, glossy glaze.

Each bowl carries its own character — the markings are born from flame, smoke, and timing, making every piece truly one of a kind.

Care: Low-fired Raku pieces are non-watertight and not suitable for food or liquids. They are not frost-proof and should be kept indoors. To clean, use a soft cloth. Liquid wax may be applied occasionally to revive the sheen.
