Saggar fired vase
Ritiro al momento non disponibile
Handcrafted in Urbino, Italy, this decorative vase is created using the Saggar firing technique. Each piece is wheel-thrown and fired inside a sealed container (saggar) together with natural materials such as leaves and oxides, along with elements like copper wire that react with the heat to create distinctive markings.
During the firing, smoke and chemical reactions imprint organic patterns and soft hues directly onto the clay surface. The result is a smooth, satin-like finish with tones of white, grey, and warm reddish accents. No glaze is applied — every color and line is formed naturally by the fire itself.
Each vase is a unique and unrepeatable piece, revealing the harmony between nature, flame, and craftsmanship.
Dimensions (cm): Ø ≈24 x H ≈23
