Naked Raku bowl XL

Handcrafted in Urbino, Italy, this decorative vase is made using the Naked Raku technique. Each piece is entirely wheel-thrown and refined to achieve a smooth, elegant form.

The surface is coated with layers of terra sigillata, giving it a soft, satin-like sheen. During the Raku firing, smoke and fire naturally create fine black patterns that contrast with the light, silky surface. Inside, a turquoise Raku glaze adds depth and luminosity, enhancing the balance between the interior and exterior.

The vertical lines are created using the sgraffito technique, carefully incised by hand before firing.

Each vase emerges from the kiln as a unique and unrepeatable work of art.
