Naked Raku Vase

Handcrafted in Urbino, Italy, this decorative vase is entirely wheel-thrown and created using the Raku technique, with hand-applied gold leaf as a final touch. Each piece is bisque fired first to strengthen the clay, then Raku fired to achieve its final character.

The exterior reveals a dynamic black and white pattern formed naturally by smoke and fire during the Raku process. Delicate gold leaf accents are later applied to enhance the organic lines and highlight the surface. Inside, a deep red Raku glaze with fine crackle creates a warm contrast with the dark, glossy exterior.

Each vase emerges from the kiln as a unique and unrepeatable work of art.
